Panama Pacifico. The most important real estate project in the country.
Panama Pacifico is an entirely new, world class, city district on 2,750 acres of tropical paradise overlooking the Pacific Ocean and the Panama Canal.
The city district will include all the land uses you would expect to find in a city, including residential, retail, employment, leisure, recreational, welfare and educational land uses inter-linked by a high quality public realm and major new on-site infrastructure.
There will be a new landscaped campus style business and science park, media village, call centre campus, manufacturing plants and inter-modal distribution and warehouse park linking the Panama Canal and the existing 8,500 ft runway at Panama Pacifico to create a world class logistics hub that enjoys Free Trade Zone status.
A retail park and retail mall is planned as the centrepiece to a new downtown central area. This will be set around a new landscaped central public park with restaurants, leisure, casino, educational and welfare uses. A major factory outlet retail centre is proposed.
A series of world class hotel, spa and managed resort developments are planned.
A championship quality golf course complex, club house and country club is planned, with residential villas overlooking the fairways.
A cornerstone of the phased implementation of Panama Pacifico is its world class masterplan. This will set strict, high quality, design guidelines to ensure that all buildings, infrastructure, landscape and public works are delivered and maintained to the highest international standards.
